Gold Champions - working together
More than Gold are asking local churches to appoint a 'Gold Champion' who can advocate, communicate, arrange, coordinate, and lead the church in engaging in the great opportunity of the Games.

If you are a Gold Champion and want to find out who is a Gold Champion in a neighbouring church, ask More than Gold who keep a postcode register of all Gold Champions that have registered through their website. To email More than Gold click here.
More than Gold are trying to see where Gold Champions are located near to each other. More than Gold will try and put Gold Champions in touch with each other. However, so far 2,500 people have registered to be Gold Champions (Sydney Olympics had 700) - and the hope is that many more churches will appoint a Gold Champion. Whilst really encouraging, it behoves local Gold Champions to ask local church leaders if they have a Gold Champion appointed too - one of the first things to do for churches together in mission is to encourage all churches to have a Gold Champion, and then for them all to get together and compare notes.
