“I am honoured to have been elected as Moderator of the Free Churches Group and will seek to represent this significant constituency in a way that reflects the rich spiritual heritage and diversity of the member churches. I look forward to meeting with the leaders and officers of our member churches to build and strengthen our bonds of fellowship and to publicise the work of the FCG Secretariat in seeking to promote faithful Christian witness in the public square.”

He is well-known in inter-church circles, having served in various capacities over the years, mainly within the evangelical constituency.  He is also well-known in parts of Africa and Asia for his Bible teaching ministry and his work in gathering and inspiring those growing into leadership.  He has recently been involved in some significant conciliation projects and has a commitment to effective unity.
