The Free Churches Group

CTE has a joint operating agreement with the Free Churches Group, whereby the majority of finance, management and work is shared. The Free Churches Group has a membership which differs from that of CTE and also includes Wales. Care is taken to ensure that the particular position of these churches is acknowledged in the work.


Local and Regional Ecumenical Bodies

Intermediate and local churches together groupings do not 'belong' to CTE. However, there is a high degree of collaboration between every level of ecumenical activity in mutual encouragement and support.

CTE feels a particular responsibility towards resourcing local ecumenism. This is fulfilled through the close relationship with Intermediate Ecumenical officers (county and city), the Fields Officers and the resources available from the office.
