Where it all happens
Ecumenical relationships, while often thought of as between churches, find their real strength in personal relationships between individual Christians. Church Leaders, church members, activists on particular issues, those working in church structures and ecumenical organisations.
This particular area of the site focuses on several levels of ecumenical relationships.
Local Ecumenical Partnerships - where more than one denomination is represented within one congregation or in covenant relationship (chaplaincy team, church leaders etc.)
Towns and Districts - where a number of churches in a locality work and witness together with a Churches Together Group.
Cities and Counties - where churches collaborate in support of ecumenical relationships and in relating to other organisations in 'Intermediate Bodies'.
Many issues relating to local ecumenism are the business of the Co-ordinating Group for Local Unity.
