Scripture – a uniting gift?

bible, pixabayThe Society for Ecumenical Studies held a webinar on Wednesday 14 October with three distinguished speakers. Watch the video and download their papers below.

Holy Scripture is a gift shared by all Christians but there are many differences of approach to the Bible in our worship, theology and personal devotion. In the Roman Catholic Year of the Word, three distinguished speakers reflected on approaches to Scripture in their own tradition and considered together the ways in which we can deepen our understanding of scripture by listening to those from different backgrounds.

The speakers (see below) were Andrew Davies, Janet Scott and Henry Wansborough.
